A big thank you to all who entered our Pumpkin Carving Competition...
... and enjoyed the Grand Lighting Ceremony.
Where it all began for us here at Tulleys - Pumpkins & Jack-o-lanterns
Selling pumpkins at Tulleys Farm Shop was made much more fun when we started the Pumpkin Carving Competition in 1990's. Since then it has run every year, with both simple and elaborate designs making it a firm favourite for generations. Indeed some parents that have helped their children in recent years were themselve carving pumpkins at Tulleys Halloween Festivals many years ago!
If you missed it this year and would like to have a go next year, here's a reminder of the schedule :
Timetable for Pumpkin Carving Competition day : It will be back next year.
1/ From 9am : Pumpkins available from the Courtyard Pumpkin Stall
2/ From 10am : Carving area and tools will be provided
(Take care when using the carving tools; children should be supervised)
3/ Place your completed entry on the stage in the Theatre Barn by 6pm, with your name attached
4/ 6.30pm : Grand lighting ceremony and judging
Prizes awarded for
• best of age groups
• most outstanding or interesting Jack-o-Lanterns
