Expectant Ladies: All Haunts can get hectic with movement, jumps, uneven flooring, and scares, NOT recommended for pregnant ladies.

Heart Condition: If you have any concerns with a heart condition, then it would be advised not to attend any haunts.

Diabetes: Please ensure you are fit to attend, have the appropriate and sufficient medication on your person, and are prepared for long periods of waiting.

Arthritis: Please ensure you are fit to attend, and are prepared for long periods of waiting. A fast Pass is available to purchase online or at the admissions kiosk.

  • Are there flashing lights, smoke or strobes?

    Yes, all of our attractions feature flashing lights, strobes and special effects. There is also a high level of smoke effects in some of the attractions. If you have any conditions that may be affected by these factors, we strongly advise against visiting.

  • Is there food available?

    Shocktober Fest is very well catered for, with three main food courts, offering traditional comfort food; hot dogs, burgers and delicious hog roasts. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase oriental inspired food from our popular Chinese noodle bar. Our 'al fresco' cafe, the 'Hayrack' will be providing hot and cold snacks, traditional BBQ foods, fabulous freshly ground coffee and other hot and cold drinks too. For sweeter toothed visitors, there will be an abundance of crepes, doughnuts, toffee apples, sweets and candy floss to indulge in - yummy! So no need to eat at home, we make sure we cater for all needs, including vegetarians, with noodles, burgers, pies and jacket potato dishes delighting many a tum!

  • Are there any age restrictions?

    The Haunts at the Shocktober Fest are very intricate, as well as scary, with special effects, obstacles, darkness, smoke, strobe lighting, live actors and more, so please take this into account when visiting us.

    We do not recommend under 15 year olds visit the Scream Park.

    8 yr and younger: No admittance to the Scream Park.

    9 and up to 12 yr: Can be admitted to the Scream Park on a Street Pass when accompanied by an adult - per child or group but they are not allowed though the Scare Haunt Attractions.

    From 12 to 15 yr: Can be admitted to the Scare Park and Scare Haunts when accompanied by an adult - per child or group. Please note - at least one adult MUST accompany them per Scare Haunt Attraction.

  • Are tickets refundable?

    All tickets are non-refundable, please decide if you are fit to use any of the Haunts before you purchase tickets. Please remember this event is mostly outdoors, with queuing and exposure to the elements, please only attend if you think you are fit enough.

  • Is alcohol permitted on site?

    We do not accept any form of alcohol to be brought on to the site.

  • Is wheelchair access available?

    The only Haunt with wheelchair access is our Haunted Hayride.

  • Why are the evenings priced differently?

    The Shocktober Festival is open for just 18 Fright Nights over the Halloween period! It is important that we can accommodate everybody, so we have incentivised the first five evenings slightly to encourage some of the crowds into the earlier part of the season.

  • Do children receive admission pass discounts?

    No. The Shocktober Fest is aimed at older children, youths and adults. There is a Street Pass available allowing Scream Park entry and the opportunity to enjoy the various Street Theatre entertainment.

    Yes, for groups of 10 or more booking tickets in advance. Please visit the booking page for the evening you require.

  • Are admission passes refundable?

    No. Admission passes are non refundable.

  • Is there a discount for the disabled?

    No, but carers, with proof of a carer certificate enter free of charge.

  • Do the haunted attractions still run if it rains?

    Yes. Four of the attractions are indoors and all the queue line areas are undercover.

  • Are the haunted attractions scary?

    Yes ….. it’s a Scream Park!  Enjoy …..

  • Are there live actors?

    Yes. All the haunted attractions involve live actors, many of whom are considered to be the best scare actors in the UK!

  • Do you have a disabled toilet?

    Yes. We have disabled toilet facilities.

  • Will the halloween store be open?

    Yes. The Halloween Store will be open until 11pm.

  • Are dogs allowed to attend the halloween festival?

    No, with the exception of certified trained guide dogs.

  • Will we get wet queuing if it is raining?

    No. We have a great deal of covered areas and Q-lines, in fact far more than the major theme parks. For example the Haunted Hayride Q-line can hold up to 1000 guests under cover.

  • Do we need to prepare for the site to be muddy?

    Yes. The Halloween Festival site has hard walkways. However we would normally expect rain in October, so be prepared for the car park fields to be muddy. We suggest you wear footwear suitable for being on a farm!
